about the festival Jazz & wine will combine to create an experience of relaxing outdoor enjoyment, September 5 and 6, 2008, at the beautiful Harmony Lakeside RV Park, located on Mayfield Lake 20 miles east of I-5 (exit 68), just off US Hwy. 12 near the town of Mossyrock. Opening Night Benefit Dinner, Sept. 5, featuring Geoffrey Castle The event kicks off with the Opening Night Benefit Dinner on Friday, Sept. 5. Guests will enjoy an outdoor dinner while listening to the amazing sounds of electric violin virtuoso Geoffrey Castle. Dinner, catered by by Hook, Line & Dine, includes jerk chicken, hopping john, green salad with raspberry vinaigrette, peach cobbler, and strawberry lemonade. Your first glass of wine is complimentary; additional wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle, featuring wines by Scatter Creek Winery, Heymann Whinery, and Weatherwax Cellars. Music & Wine from Noon to Twilight, Sept. 6 On Saturday, Sept. 6, the gates open at noon for a day of nonstop music, wine tasting, shopping at vendor booths, viewing exhibitor displays, boat rides on the lake, prize giveaways, and more. All tickets include 3 wine samples; additional wine tastes, glasses, and bottles of featured wines can be purchased for on-site consumption and to take home (unopened bottles only). The fabulous music line-up includes a diverse selection of jazz styles, featuring established and up-and-coming performers from the Seattle and Portland areas: Michael Powers, Deems Tsutakawa, Shelly Rudolph, John Nastos and E4, and RaChiChi Jazz Trio.
